Weep With Those Who Weep Series

Romans 12:15, ESV
"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep."

Something that each person will face as they go through life is the loss of someone that they love. If we have not yet faced this type of situation, most likely we have had friends or relatives who have. When we face these situations, or when we see someone else go through them, how should we react? How can we find comfort and how can we comfort others?   What does the Bible have to say about these circumstances and how can we demonstrate the love of Christ to the world around us?

Join us at 321 Ministries as we explore the topic of loss. We will hear and read first-hand testimonies from individuals who have experienced loss from different points of view. We will explore Biblical truth about the topic to see what the Lord says and we will discuss the practical ways that we can support others as they experience the process of loss.

“Weep with those who weep”, this is my prayer. I prayed to God to help me to cry and to laugh by feeling His heart, and also so I could be true to my own. One of the reasons I had this prayer was because I lived too long in a life.... To read more click here

Let The Children Speak

No story on this earth is too tragic that it cannot be redeemed by God! He is the one after all that penned these words through His prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 61:2-3 "...to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."  It is the Fathers good will to restore all brokenness in this world to a place of healing and restoration. In this world we undoubtedly will have great trouble, but take heart, for Jesus has overcome it (John 16:33)!
God promises us that those who mourn now will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). This is truly such wonderful news in the face of tragedy. How can we come alongside those who have experienced great loss and tragedy? By following Jesus' example. We find in all of the gospels the phrase "and Jesus saw them and had great compassion on them..." Compassion is pity in action. When Jesus saw people suffering He acted on their behalf. May we all be more like our Lord in this regard and hold back nothing that is in our power to give to those who are suffering. "“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40 NIV

While there maybe limited input from children in this video, we hope that you gain insight into how children who have experienced the loss of their parent not only cope with the loss, but actually inspire others.
